Bachelor of Science Program in Animal Science
Program in Animal Science was developed and updated in 2018 in order to prepare students to become animal science personnel who are well prepared for the domestic and international competition. They are able to perform any works immediately, have the potential of self-improvement to fit the academic and professional jobs, virtue, and ethics, and have the awareness of society and environment. Students will study both theoretical and practical courses about Anatomy and Physiology of Animals, Animal Nutrition, Animal Breeding, Livestock Industry Management, Animal Diseases and Sanitation. And they have to take Field Practices in Agricultural and Food Machinery Technology or Co-operative Education. Course duration is 4 years.
Our graduates with Bachelor of Science Program in Animal Science will be able to apply animal science technology to the professional practice relating to poultry, swine, beef cattle and dairy cattle, goat, sheep production, animal sanitation, as well as the operations of livestock business efficiently under the social responsibility concept.
Program in Animal Science is aimed for professional practice in Animal Science based on the actual work experience under the cooperation with the establishment. The development of students will take place particularly in academic, experience, laboratory, and farm works.
